Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable, and secure production infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
Lead container platform migrations, including ECS to EKS/GKE, and enable microservice architectures across multi-cloud environments.
Serve as a technical authority for Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Partner with development teams to improve production readiness, scalability, and observability of microservice applications.
Implement infrastructure as code and automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management.
Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.
Define SLOs and SLIs, conduct blameless postmortems and root cause analyses, and improve incident response.
Lead complex technical projects, coordinate timelines and dependencies, mentor engineers, and participate in the on-call rotation.
Collaborate with security and compliance partners on infrastructure standards, identity federation, workload identity, secrets management, and container security.

8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
3–5 years of production Kubernetes experience with EKS/GKE and related tools such as Helm and Karpenter.
3–5 years of experience with AWS and GCP.
3–5 years of experience using Terraform for multi-cloud infrastructure.
5+ years of coding experience in Python, Go, or similar languages.
Proven experience leading high-impact migration projects and enabling microservice architectures at scale.
Experience implementing SLOs/SLIs, conducting root cause analyses, and improving operational resilience.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native distributed systems, Linux, networking, security fundamentals, databases, caching systems, and observability tools.
Experience in SaaS or high-scale cloud-native environments is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong communication, problem-solving, cross-team leadership, and mentoring skills.
