Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services.
  • Develop microservices and leverage serverless functions.
  • Improve operational stability, security, cost management, reporting, and DevOps processes.
  • Automate and optimize cloud operations and provide effective operational reporting.
  • Respond to incidents and minimize customer impact.
  • Oversee cloud deployments, track progress, and resolve or escalate release issues.
  • Manage cloud environments, infrastructure as code, certificates, storage, health status, and backups.
  • Ensure services meet operational readiness standards and comply with security practices and policies.
  • Provide cloud operations subject matter expertise and maintain accurate operational documentation.
  • Monitor security industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience with exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core, or Java.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Node.js, or Python scripting.
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of APIs, REST, microservices, and serverless architecture.
  • Knowledge of OAuth, Identity Servers, OpenID Connect, and SAML authentication protocols.
  • Knowledge of Azure administration and services including Azure APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage Accounts, and Key Vaults, or equivalent AWS experience.
  • Experience with operational support, software development, and deployment methodologies and principles.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, analysis, and information-dissemination skills.
  • Ability to self-manage, maintain technical knowledge, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Azure and/or AWS certifications are desirable.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 or ISO 27017/18 information-security frameworks is desirable.
  • Experience with Agile software development and Scaled Agile Framework is desirable.
