Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software components across ASW, BSW, and MCAL layers for automotive electrification products.
- Create software builds, release documentation, and complete software deliveries for project teams.
- Plan and coordinate software integration and testing with software project managers and component owners.
- Specify, execute, and document SWE5 software integration tests.
- Configure AUTOSAR systems, including SWC compositions, component instances, connectors, and multicore software architectures.
- Develop and maintain common software architecture and ensure traceability from requirements through test cases.
- Debug and analyze software integration issues on bench and support embedded multicore and multithreaded software development.
- Implement and shape CI/CD, build automation, automated testing, and software release processes.
- Lead cybersecurity architecture and implementation covering security requirements, HSM, secure boot, secure flashing, secure diagnostics, IDS, SecOC, and secure tokens.
- Define and develop cybersecurity solutions with customers, OEMs, internal teams, and external partners.
- Provide technical direction, mentor and coach engineers, influence design decisions, and support strategic architecture roadmaps.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, systems engineering, software teams, and cross-functional engineering groups to meet requirements and delivery schedules.
- Support compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE UN R155, UN R156, and related automotive development processes.
Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech., M.E., or M.Tech. in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation.
- At least 5 years of automotive BSW development experience and 3 years of AUTOSAR software architecture and software integration experience.
- The posting also lists 7-9 years of overall experience, preferably in automotive embedded software, including at least 5 years in automotive cybersecurity software development.
- Strong AUTOSAR architecture, configuration, and implementation experience across ASW, BSW, MCAL, and RTE.
- Expertise with automotive cybersecurity architecture, secure system design, HSM, key management, cryptographic services, secure provisioning, and Vector HSM and MICROSAR.
- Hands-on experience with secure boot, secure flashing and OTA/FOTA, secure diagnostics, secure debug, IDS, SecOC, secure tokens, and cryptographic stacks.
- Strong C/C++ embedded software development and debugging experience in multicore and multithreaded environments.
- Experience with bootloader, communication, diagnostic, memory, network management, OS, ECUM, BSWM, WDG, NVM, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS, XCP, and XETK.
- Experience with 32-bit Infineon TC3xx microcontrollers and the ability to understand microcontroller hardware and schematics.
- Experience with Vector DaVinci, EB tresos, ETAS ISOLAR, ASAP2 tools, A2L files, and embedded software build environments using Makefile, compilers, and linkers.
- Experience with build automation, continuous integration and delivery, automated testing, and scripting.
- Experience with JIRA, Polarion, BitBucket, GitLab, Plastic SCM, EA, TPT, CANTATA, VectorCAST, RTRT, CANoe, CANalyzer, NeoVI Fire, Lauterbach, and Tasking.
- Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, TARA, cybersecurity concepts and lifecycle work products, UNECE UN R155 and UN R156, ASPICE, ISO 26262, TS 16949, Agile, V-Model development, requirements engineering, verification, and validation.
- Ability to operate at a software technical lead level, guide design decisions, mentor engineers, communicate clearly, collaborate across disciplines, and manage multiple projects.
