Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software and firmware components for connected video surveillance, smart sensor, and security products.
- Build complex embedded applications for microcontrollers and microprocessors using C/C++ and Python.
- Analyze and debug complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in Ovar and worldwide R&D locations.
- Contribute innovative approaches and solutions to video systems development.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience coding in C/C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of embedded Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and Git.
- Experience programming complex microprocessors, such as STM32; Ambarella and Qualcomm knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with video application software development is preferred.
- Agile and Scrum experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, accountability, learning, and teamwork skills.
