Responsibilities

  • Contribute to test planning and perform hands-on test design, development, maintenance, automation, and execution.
  • Define test data and environment requirements and analyze proposed solutions to develop in-scope tests.
  • Develop, debug, and maintain automated and manual test suites, traceability matrices, and defect records.
  • Implement functional and non-functional automation, including performance, reliability, accessibility, and security testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration, delivery, and testing pipelines.
  • Use service virtualization, test data management, monitoring, source code management, and other engineering tools and practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done/Ready.
  • Analyze and report test results, provide quality feedback, and support proactive identification of end-to-end test solutions.
  • Participate in proof-of-concepts, communities of interest, knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Deliver work on time and within budget while following quality engineering, technology delivery, risk management, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies is required.
  • Foundational knowledge of quality engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of coding, testing, debugging, and writing automated scripts with industry-standard frameworks.
  • Hands-on debugging, problem-solving, test automation, test data, and test management experience.
  • Ability to own tasks, estimate and prioritize work, and handle medium to moderately complex assignments.
  • Collaborative team-player skills and willingness to support knowledge transfer, coaching, and guidance.
