Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases/scripts, bug reports, and quality-risk assessments.
- Automate product features and collaborate with the automation group to improve regression coverage.
- Triage or assist with triaging automation results.
- Develop deep expertise in the assigned product.
- Conduct functional QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules and timelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and QA testers in an Agile team environment.
Requirements
- Experience coding in Java and/or mobile languages.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and/or automated testing in a software company with short release cycles.
- Graduate status or relevant work experience involving software development and/or software test automation.
- Curiosity and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with SQL; knowledge of Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language; familiarity with Atlassian products such as Jira, Greenhopper, and Clover; knowledge of mobile testing and automation tools including Appium, XCUI, Espresso, and KIF; and knowledge of Android or iOS mobile app development.
