Responsibilities

Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL jobs for inbound and outbound data flows.
Contribute to data ingestion frameworks, data warehouse solutions, views, and data marts used by analytics, data science, and business teams.
Complete well-defined development tasks, commit code, and deliver work during Scrum sprints with guidance from senior developers.
Learn and apply source control, build pipeline, testing, debugging, release, and operational support practices.
Develop knowledge of the software architecture and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Adapt to new technologies, accept feedback, communicate effectively, and deliver assigned commitments.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
3–4 years of Java/data experience or internship/training.
Experience with Spring or a similar MVC framework.
Knowledge of AWS services including S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, and EC2.
Knowledge of SQL, Big Data concepts, Spark, and Kafka.
Knowledge of Subversion and/or Git for source control.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, service-oriented architecture, object-oriented programming, Agile methodologies, software development best practices, build processes, testing, and operational support.
Strong verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including familiarity with Visio.
Ability and desire to learn quickly and demonstrate innovation, nimble learning, and results-oriented competencies.
