Responsibilities
- Embed in transformation squads and lead agentic software development engagements end-to-end.
- Scope business problems and select appropriate approaches across rules, automation, classical machine learning, and GenAI agents.
- Design, build, deploy, and integrate production-grade AI agents and automation with enterprise systems and platforms.
- Build data pipelines over structured and unstructured data using vector databases and retrieval-augmented architectures.
- Mentor and pair with an early-career engineer.
- Own evaluation standards and quality practices depending on experience.
- Identify bespoke modeling needs and coordinate with the central data science team.
- Deliver solutions with measurable financial or productivity outcomes.
Requirements
- Production experience building agentic applications, agent skills and tools, Model Context Protocol servers, and multi-agent workflows.
- Experience designing and deploying AI systems on a major cloud platform.
- Strong software engineering foundation including Python, APIs, and production enterprise-system integration.
- Experience building data pipelines over structured and unstructured data with vector databases and RAG architectures.
- Five to ten years of software engineering experience, including two to three years of hands-on GenAI or agent experience.
- Experience with enterprise automation platforms such as Google Cloud and Amazon Bedrock, plus familiarity with Google, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
- Experience setting up evaluation and observability for agentic systems.
- Prior client-facing, consulting, or forward-deployed delivery experience.
- Exposure to MLOps and LLMOps for production deployment and monitoring.
- Open-source contributions or published work in the agent or LLM space and a record of shipping AI products with measurable outcomes are preferred.
- Professional experience at a hyperscaler or startup is considered an asset.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
