Responsibilities
- Embed with transformation squads and lead agentic software development engagements end-to-end.
- Scope business problems and select appropriate approaches across rules, automation, classical machine learning, and generative AI agents.
- Design, build, integrate, and deploy production-grade AI agents and automation across enterprise systems and platforms.
- Build agent skills and tools, Model Context Protocol servers, and multi-agent workflows from prototype through production.
- Recognize when use cases require bespoke modeling and route them to the central data science team.
- Mentor and pair with an early-career engineer.
- Depending on experience, own evaluation standards and the quality bar for the team.
Requirements
- Production experience building agentic applications, including agent skills and tools, Model Context Protocol servers, and multi-agent workflows.
- Experience designing and deploying AI systems on a major cloud platform.
- Experience building data pipelines over structured and unstructured data using vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Strong software engineering foundation, including Python, APIs, and integration with production enterprise systems.
- Ability to stay current with rapidly evolving large language model and agent capabilities, patterns, and tooling.
- Five to ten years of software engineering experience, including two to three years of hands-on generative AI or agent experience.
- Experience with enterprise automation platforms and familiarity with Google, Salesforce, and ServiceNow experience platforms.
- Professional experience at a hyperscaler or startup, open-source contributions or published work in the agent or large language model space, and a record of shipping AI products with measurable financial outcomes are preferred.
- Experience establishing evaluation and observability for agentic systems, prior client-facing, consulting, or forward-deployed delivery experience, and exposure to MLOps or LLMOps are preferred.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
