Responsibilities
- Validate and test multiple SAS9 products on Windows and Unix platforms.
- Install and configure testing environments and support SAS9, continuous deployment, and test infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, scripts, test plans, scenarios, and strategies.
- Automate deployment processes using internal tools, Jenkins, Python, and Shell scripts as applicable.
- Install and administer PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SAS, or related database management systems.
- Administer Linux, Windows, and SAS software.
- Debug complex software systems and identify, manage, and close risks, issues, and defects.
- Support and configure test environments for multiple projects.
- Apply security concepts including FIPS, TLS, certificates, and private-key infrastructure.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Experience administering Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Programming or scripting experience with Java, Shell Script, or Python for deployment automation.
- Experience installing and administering PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SAS, or related database systems.
- Experience with software validation, testing, test planning, and automated test frameworks.
- Knowledge of security concepts and tools such as Snyk and Black Duck.
- Knowledge of enterprise security applications including IBM Virtual Identity Access, WebSeal, SiteMinder, and Integrated Windows Authentication.
- Ability to debug complex software systems and solve problems logically.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and hypervisors.
- Ability to work with large legacy products.
- Experience or familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
