Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of Drupal 10/11 web applications and platforms.
- Develop and maintain custom Drupal modules, themes, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Design and implement headless CMS solutions using API-driven architectures and React.js.
- Drive application security, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate on technical requirements, effort estimates, solution designs, and proposal development.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps.
- Support SSO and IAM integrations using Okta and similar platforms.
- Mentor development teams and promote coding standards and architectural best practices.
- Create high-level designs and solution architecture documentation when needed.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on Drupal CMS experience, including recent Drupal 10 and/or Drupal 11 experience.
- Strong Drupal theme development skills using Bootstrap and Twig.
- Experience developing custom modules, REST APIs, and external-system integrations.
- Experience with headless Drupal architectures and modern front-end technologies; React.js is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience implementing SSO with Okta or other IAM platforms.
- Understanding of application security standards, compliance requirements, and performance optimization.
- Experience managing Drupal multisite environments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese.
- Preferred experience includes enterprise Drupal architecture, Single Directory Components, HLDs, AWS, Docker, Google Lighthouse, technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional team management.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and practical enterprise use cases is preferred.
