Responsibilities
- Develop backend automation that integrates metadata sources and generates governed artifacts such as data contracts.
- Design and build agent-enabled applications and workflows, including MCP servers and data-focused tools.
- Build user-facing interfaces for platform and data-discovery workflows.
- Deliver production-quality services with sound API design, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering best practices, scalability, automation, and operation of solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering, governance, internal teams, and external clients in a consulting environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Strong Python skills, including FastAPI, asynchronous programming, Pydantic, and JSON Schema.
- Experience with Graph RAG data structures, Neo4j, Supabase, React, Vue.js, ES6, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Proven experience architecting agentic workflows and AI-driven solutions with deep LLM and autonomous-framework integration.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs and microservices, including unit and integration testing.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud computing, serverless architecture, and preferably AWS.
- Understanding of data-engineering principles, data governance, catalogue tooling, and data-contract standards.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred experience building MCP servers, working in regulated or life-sciences environments, and consulting.
