Base Salary
$160k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and extend shared platforms and developer tooling for service development and deployment.
- Design and operate reliable, scalable, secure, low-latency, and cost-efficient infrastructure systems.
- Own infrastructure problems from requirements and design through implementation, launch, adoption, and production operation.
- Lead infrastructure projects and collaborate with engineers across Moloco to deliver durable solutions.
- Enable teams to build, deploy, host, and operate AI workloads safely, compliantly, reliably, and cost-effectively.
- Establish infrastructure defaults, guardrails, and best practices across the company.
- Mentor engineers and improve software design and implementation quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong software development skills and fluency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, Rust, or Python.
- Experience designing and building large-scale, low-latency, highly reliable systems.
- Strong system design skills and experience taking projects through design, implementation, launch, adoption, and production operation.
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Airflow, Dataflow, Spark, Redis, and Bigtable.
- Experience using software delivery and developer tools such as CI/CD systems, GitHub, Jenkins, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to independently validate AI-assisted development outputs and own resulting design, implementation, testing, and security decisions.
- Experience leading projects through influence while remaining hands-on.
- Preferred experience with foundational platforms, developer infrastructure, reusable shared services, developer productivity, observability, performance optimization, cost efficiency, AI infrastructure, security, privacy, access control, data governance, or compliance.
