Responsibilities
- Develop the core Load Distribution engine using finite state machines, dynamic homing, weighted average score algorithms, and hysteresis.
- Architect high-throughput API and messaging layers using gRPC for metrics ingestion and RabbitMQ for event-driven communication.
- Implement distributed leader election and consensus mechanisms with Consul Raft and LockAuthority across active-active deployments.
- Scale the system to handle more than 3,000 assignments per second using Apache Ignite/GridGain for stateless caching and data recovery.
- Design active-active multi-site architectures that handle network partitions, majority/minority quorums, and site-isolation scenarios.
- Support large-volume transaction systems, data migration workflows, and end-to-end observability using OpenTelemetry and Kibana.
- Work with enterprise security tooling, including Vault and mutual TLS, and automated deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Golang and proficiency in C, C++, or Java.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, concurrency control, and finite state machines.
- Hands-on expertise with gRPC, Protobuf v3, and RabbitMQ.
- Strong background with distributed databases and caching technologies including Apache Ignite and GridGain.
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience designing active-active multi-site architectures with network partition, quorum, and site-isolation handling.
- Experience with large-volume transaction systems, data migration workflows, and observability frameworks such as OpenTelemetry and Kibana.
- Familiarity with Vault, mutual TLS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and explaining complex ideas.
- One to 10 years of industry experience.
