Responsibilities
- Provide timely support and follow-up for incidents affecting Java systems while meeting service-level agreements.
- Diagnose technical issues in coordination with technology and dependent application teams.
- Analyze traces and logs to resolve canceled batch processes and address root causes.
- Implement evolutionary software developments and optimizations under institutional coding and version-control policies.
- Maintain operational continuity, high availability, and platform stability with minimal business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in systems-support areas.
- Programming proficiency in Java and experience with Maven, Spring, Spark, REST/SOAP services, and Oracle technologies.
- Experience with JUnit, DBUnit, Mockito, and JMeter, plus GitHub, Copilot, Jira, and database technologies.
- Availability to provide 24x7 support for assigned systems.
- Desirable experience includes APX architecture, LRA/LRBA schemes, Elasticsearch, Mongo/Percona, Bruno or Postman, Ether, Helix, Atenea, SQL Developer, MobaXterm, WinSCP, and Control M.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making under pressure, customer orientation, communication, and collaborative-work skills.
