Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate platform security services and controls using Python, Node.js, or Golang.
- Develop and contribute to security automation initiatives and custom tooling.
- Secure Kubernetes and containerized workloads through runtime security, network policies, and admission controllers.
- Write clean, testable, and documented code; drive technical designs and participate in code reviews.
- Support vulnerability remediation by developing and committing patches in partnership with Auth0 engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade software services.
- Hands-on mastery of Python, Node.js, or Golang.
- Architectural and engineering experience with GitHub and CI/CD systems including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Expert-level Software Composition Analysis expertise and practical experience remediating third-party and open-source dependency vulnerabilities at scale.
- Experience with cloud-native environments such as AWS or Azure and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience building platform security controls, managing service permissions, and applying secure coding practices.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Vector, Terraform, policy-as-code tools, FedRAMP, SOC2, multi-cloud security frameworks, or AI/ML tools for security automation and analysis.
