Responsibilities
- Own an AI-related project end to end, from understanding the problem through building, launching, and improving the solution.
- Write readable, maintainable code and demonstrate work regularly to product, engineering, and business teams.
- Work directly with business users to understand their workflows and translate findings into practical features.
- Use agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code and evaluate where they are effective or produce poor results.
- Experiment with new AI development tools and communicate findings, including failures, to the engineering team.
Requirements
- Actively pursue or have recently obtained a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have hands-on experience using at least one AI coding agent for a class project, side project, or hackathon.
- Have working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or a similar programming language.
- Be comfortable working in a terminal and using Git without relying on a graphical interface.
- Be able to learn unfamiliar tools by reading documentation and experimenting.
- Preferred: web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework.
- Preferred: understanding of how large language models work under the hood, beyond prompting.
- Preferred: experience building something that other people used.
