Responsibilities
- Build and evolve reusable web components and design patterns for BNZ’s digital experiences.
- Translate design specifications, tokens, interactions and behaviours into reusable React implementations.
- Embed accessibility, usability, performance and quality into components, tooling and development practices.
- Improve developer experience through documentation, APIs, tooling, examples and integration patterns.
- Evolve the web design system architecture to remain scalable, maintainable, testable and easy to adopt.
- Provide technical leadership through design discussions, code reviews and engineering collaboration.
- Maintain automated testing, CI/CD tooling and release processes for shared components.
Requirements
- Strong frontend development capability with experience building reusable web components and React implementations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers and product teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to reusable solutions.
- Ability to consider accessibility, usability, performance, quality and the wider technical ecosystem.
- Comfort moving between detailed technical discussions and broader customer-experience conversations.
- Curiosity about how people use components and tools, with a focus on improving customer, designer and engineer experiences.
