Responsibilities
- Research, architect, and scale robust scientific code based on novel ideas and published research.
- Lead the ideation, benchmarking, and execution of complex datasets and ML models within large-scale simulation frameworks.
- Drive software from foundational research and implementation through launch and long-term support.
- Orchestrate distributed training pipelines on GPU infrastructure.
- Develop hardware-level optimizations for computational chemistry workloads.
Requirements
- PhD or research-focused MSc in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related quantitative field focused on advanced computational methods.
- At least five years of industry experience developing productionized software in professional teams.
- Experience or training in data-science tasks related to structural biology.
- Expertise translating research papers into concrete ML software artifacts.
- Experience supporting models in external-facing products across the research-code to product-code lifecycle.
- Direct biopharma experience or experience training affinity, structure-prediction, or generative chemistry models is highly desired.
- Experience developing and launching successful commercial software products is highly desired.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices on major cloud platforms for automated scaling and model monitoring is highly desired.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary environments combining AI with physical or biological sciences is highly desired.
