Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications across frontend, backend, database, and cloud layers.
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces with consistent browser and device experiences.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services, including authentication and integrations.
- Design and optimize relational database structures for performance and data integrity.
- Deploy and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving application performance, integrations, deployments, and system interoperability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Explore and integrate Microsoft Copilot or Azure AI services where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or business technology, or a unique combination of education and work experience demonstrating potential for success.
- Minimum of 3+ years of full-stack software development experience delivering custom applications.
- Production experience with React.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive accessible UI development.
- Experience with Jest and React Testing Library is preferred for frontend testing.
- Experience building APIs and services with C# and ASP.NET Core; Node.js experience is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT authentication, and Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization, plus experience with Azure SQL or similar managed databases.
- Understanding of microservices/SOA architecture, Git workflows, Agile/Scrum delivery, and multi-environment management.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or AWS Certified Developer.
- Healthcare familiarity with HIPAA compliance, HL7, FHIR, EDI transactions, or Medicare/Medicaid billing systems is a plus.
