Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Automation & Developer Platforms
Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Python tools and services used by multiple engineering teams.
- Improve software architecture, testing strategy, code reviews, releases, and documentation.
- Automate CI/CD workflows and platform operations using infrastructure-as-code and reliability-focused practices.
- Build and operate platform components for monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal engineering customers to understand workflow problems and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Triage and mitigate support tickets and incidents, including postmortems and preventive automation.
- Own work end to end from design and implementation through rollout and operability.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience building production-grade Python software, including services, libraries, or tooling.
- Solid software engineering practices involving clean design, testing, maintainable architecture, CI, and documentation.
- Comfort working in a DevOps/SRE-style environment with automation-first and monitoring-driven practices.
- Ability to context-switch, learn quickly, and improve systems used by many teams.
- B.Tech or B.E. degree.
- 8–10 years of experience.
- CI/CD and platform experience, such as Jenkins or Git-based workflows, is preferred.
- Experience with container orchestration, documentation tooling, or developer experience improvements is preferred.
