Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Assist with requirements, design, development, testing, integration, and documentation of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions across multiple programs and platforms.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
- Follow established development practices and processes for software configuration management.
- Support software development tasks including real-time software, application software, test and verification, data analysis, and software tools development.
Requirements
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM major through completion of the internship or co-op session.
- Experience with technologies or environments including real-time C++ embedded software, Windows, Linux, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Perl, Bash, or Kornshell; experience may come from work, research, coursework, or projects.
- Preferred knowledge includes data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, software architectures, software development lifecycle processes, Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, and test automation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation, and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before starting.
