Base Salary
$110k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate scalable backend software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Analyze system requirements and customize applications for optimal functionality.
- Participate across requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, software releases, and application integration.
- Create and maintain Django-based RESTful APIs and critical backend services.
- Own production deployments at scale and support operational excellence, reliability, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to verify technical specifications and application quality.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing.
- Conduct training for operational staff using internally developed applications.
- Synthesize market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and product offerings.
- Work regular, consistent, and punctual schedules, including nights and weekends when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with Python and Django.
- Experience creating and developing RESTful APIs using Django.
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS, including production deployments at scale for critical backend services.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent coursework, experience, or extensive related professional experience.
- AdTech or advertising industry experience is preferred.
