Base Salary

$215k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack applications with scalable frontend interfaces and backend services.
Build responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, React, and JSX, with exposure to TypeScript.
Design and implement backend services using Node.js, Python, and Rust.
Develop and deploy microservices architectures using Kubernetes and Helm.
Support service mesh, load balancing, multi-site deployment, cloud migration, and cloud performance optimization.
Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ and develop real-time data processing with WebSockets and streaming technologies.
Use Terraform, Ansible, and Salt for infrastructure automation and deployment.
Implement testing frameworks such as Jest and monitor performance using Grafana and InfluxDB.
Work with MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, and other data stores.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to system architecture decisions.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance with the Fort Meade customer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
12+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong frontend development experience with JavaScript and React/JSX.
Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Rust.
Experience designing and deploying microservices architectures with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud migration, distributed systems, messaging frameworks, and real-time data processing.
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability tools, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with big data and data flow tools such as NiFi.
Understanding of security labeling and compliance standards such as CAM, LAC, and COI.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
