Responsibilities
- Design and implement IAM architecture across AWS, SaaS applications, infrastructure, and on-premises systems.
- Manage the full identity lifecycle, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, approvals, reviews, and recertification.
- Architect and implement MFA, SSO, identity federation, device access controls, and passwordless FIDO2 authentication.
- Develop IAM automation using APIs, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
- Build identity monitoring and analytics to detect anomalies, privilege escalation, and unauthorized activity, and respond to identity security incidents.
- Create application connectors integrating IAM systems with HR, HRIS, and business applications for joiner, mover, and leaver workflows.
- Manage authentication and authorization across AWS IAM, Okta, C1, GitHub, Atlassian, and other enterprise systems.
- Establish IAM governance policies, standards, procedures, documentation, dashboards, and technical controls.
- Design RBAC and ABAC models and apply least-privilege principles in partnership with security, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Support the organization-wide AI Agent Governance lifecycle through identity and access controls.
- Evaluate IAM technologies, maintain alignment with security frameworks and regulations, and share IAM knowledge across teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on IAM engineering and implementation experience across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Proficiency with AWS IAM, Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, LDAP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, MFA, SSO architecture, identity federation, RBAC, and ABAC.
- Experience with identity provisioning, user lifecycle management, Okta Workflows, MuleSoft, custom API development, and workflow automation.
- Programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar technologies.
- Experience implementing identity governance programs, access reviews, segregation of duties, and continuous access monitoring.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their native IAM and identity services.
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-63, NIST CSF, Zero Trust principles, SOC2, PCI-DSS, and GLI-GSF.
- Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for identity automation.
- Experience integrating identity solutions with SaaS applications, GitHub, Atlassian products, and enterprise software.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Okta, AWS, Azure, or other IAM credentials are preferred.
- Consulting experience or senior IAM experience in regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
