Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate customized software solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Lead or participate in development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and production support for complex applications.
- Build monitoring capabilities, provide escalated production support, and maintain security controls.
- Lead moderately complex projects, solve technical and operational problems, and support less-experienced teammates.
- Design reusable libraries and shared service modules with dependency governance and backward compatibility.
- Integrate REST APIs, SOAP/WSDL endpoints, and encrypted messaging systems into fraud-detection workflows using resilience patterns.
- Manage software supply-chain health, dependency versions, vulnerability remediation, and security patch rollouts.
- Develop backend services, frontend applications, internal tools, and operational dashboards.
- Support CI/CD, platform migration, build-infrastructure modernization, environment provisioning, and deployment readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, theories, concepts, and information-security technologies.
- Experience with software development lifecycle security practices, threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
- Preferred: master’s degree and ten or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Preferred: experience with Java/J2EE/JEE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, SQL, OpenShift, Kubernetes, web services, and microservices.
- Preferred: banking or financial-services experience and strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, software design, analysis, and debugging.
- Preferred: enterprise application development, SOA or Open API methodologies, event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka, Maven, BPMN, and DMN.
- Preferred: TypeScript, Node.js, React, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Helm, SQL Server, DB2, JPA/Hibernate, mTLS, JKS/PKCS12, and SSL-secured communications.
- Preferred: DevOps and platform-engineering experience, infrastructure-as-code, JFrog Artifactory, environment promotion, and cloud migrations.
- Preferred: ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo, and ChatGPT.
