Responsibilities
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to define comprehensive functional and technical designs.
- Partner with software engineering teams and senior leadership to architect and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement robust full-stack solutions using Java.
- Lead and contribute to project initiatives within the stated development framework.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to establish effective test strategies for release cycles.
- Prepare detailed system and training documentation.
- Provide technical programming support and subject matter expertise to team members.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, automate routine processes, detect errors, refactor code, and improve software quality.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing object-oriented solutions with Java 8 or later.
- Advanced proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Kafka.
- Experience developing and integrating solutions in cloud environments such as AWS.
- Expertise with relational and distributed data stores, including Oracle 19c and Cassandra.
- Practical experience developing and deploying containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience developing full-stack solutions for Windows and Linux web-based platforms.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, thoroughly tested software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective collaboration with software engineers.
- Ability to use AI-powered development tools, including GitHub Copilot and Anthropic Claude Code, in engineering workflows.
- Preferred familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and OpenShift.
- Preferred experience integrating AI-driven tools for rapid prototyping, documentation, and collaborative problem-solving.
