Base Salary
$81k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture decisions with stakeholders and product owners.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code review guidance, and engineering best-practice direction.
- Drive integrations across applications, platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support continuous improvement.
- Apply quality, security, compliance, monitoring, resiliency, deployment-readiness, and production-release standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Expertise designing and implementing microservices architectures in large-scale environments.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native development practices.
- Demonstrated success leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical delivery.
- Experience in Agile Scrum delivery environments.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, code reviews, performance optimization, security, and application resiliency.
- Experience using Jira for agile planning, tracking, and delivery management.
- Preferred experience in merchandising, retail, or other customer-facing business domains.
- Preferred exposure to Gemini Code Assist, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude.
- Preferred knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated deployment frameworks, application architecture, and technology modernization.
