Responsibilities
- Lead software development and arbitrate major technical decisions.
- Define software specifications, architecture, and testing strategy.
- Monitor development teams to ensure quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
- Act as a technical reference for engineering teams.
- Perform software activities from specification through testing.
- Support software maintenance and contribute to technology monitoring.
- Serve as the technical interface with customers and technical teams.
- Apply and ensure compliance with engineering processes and standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bac+5 degree in electronic engineering or computer science, such as an engineering school or equivalent university qualification.
- Experience with safety-critical embedded real-time development.
- Strong C and Ada programming skills and good algorithmic ability.
- Experience with real-time operating systems, ideally PikeOS or an equivalent partitioned system.
- Understanding of memory and CPU resource-management mechanisms.
- Ability to apply rigorous development processes, including documentation, requirements traceability, and testing.
- Technical English proficiency is essential.
- Strong communication, synthesis, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
