Responsibilities

  • Perform the full range of software activities, including specification, architecture participation, coding, and testing.
  • Arbitrate and validate major software technical choices through design reviews.
  • Prepare and execute software requirements tests and software/software integration tests.
  • Support software maintenance and contribute to technology monitoring.
  • Provide technical interface with customer users and Villeurbanne technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Apply and ensure compliance with engineering processes and standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and communicate clearly and responsibly.

Requirements

  • Bac+5 degree in electronic engineering or computer science from an engineering school or equivalent university program.
  • Experience with highly critical real-time embedded development.
  • Good algorithmic skills and programming ability in C and/or Ada.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems, ideally PikeOS or an equivalent partitioned system.
  • Understanding of memory and CPU resource-management mechanisms.
  • Ability to follow rigorous software development processes, including documentation, requirements traceability, and testing.
  • Technical English proficiency, communication skills, adaptability, synthesis ability, and teamwork.
