Responsibilities
- Define software architecture for embedded and connected systems using edge computing, IoT, and cloud technologies.
- Write technical and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and data teams to integrate software solutions.
- Ensure compliance with railway standards including EN 50128 and EN 50155.
- Advise developers and validate technology choices.
- Support continuous integration, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
- Participate in code reviews and technical audits.
- Contribute to technology monitoring and the global deployment of IoT sensors, communication gateways, and remote-monitoring systems.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with or understanding of embedded systems, IoT, and cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of railway standards such as EN 50128 and EN 50155, or willingness to learn them.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools and automated testing.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
