Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test planning for Android and iOS mobile applications, including objectives, scope, coverage, and acceptance criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, compatibility, usability, performance, and exploratory tests across devices and operating system versions.
- Develop and maintain mobile test automation scripts and regression packs for multiple product releases.
- Collaborate with mobile developers and cross-functional teams to improve testability and provide early quality feedback.
- Analyze test results and defect trends, identify root causes and risks, and produce detailed test reports.
- Design automotive verification and validation scenarios covering vehicle usage, connectivity, safety, environmental conditions, and regulatory expectations.
- Validate mobile integrations with automotive systems, including connectivity flows, data exchanges, and user interface behavior.
- Document reproducible defects, expected outcomes, observed behavior, and potential impact in the defect management tool.
- Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases and present test status, quality risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Identify testing gaps, improve test standards, and recommend process enhancements.
- Participate in project ceremonies, cross-functional reviews, and occasional onsite collaboration with client and internal teams.
Requirements
- At least three years of focused project experience in mobile testing for Android and iOS applications.
- Hands-on expertise developing maintainable mobile test automation and integrating automated regression packs with build pipelines.
- Understanding of Android and iOS mobile application development sufficient to review implementation details and identify edge cases.
- Experience with automotive verification and validation, including realistic driving and usage scenarios.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills for collaboration, test reporting, and documentation.
- ISTQB Foundation Level or an equivalent software testing certification focused on mobile or embedded systems is preferred.
