Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate production AI models, services, applications, and data pipelines.
- Develop generative AI, agent, copilot, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions for commercial and core-function use cases.
- Put forecasting, scoring, anomaly detection, computer vision, and other data science models into production as reliable services and APIs.
- Build model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, retraining, testing, and release workflows.
- Improve model performance, latency, cost efficiency, reliability, explainability, and output quality while monitoring for bias, drift, and operational issues.
- Integrate AI solutions with Salesforce, ERP, PLM, MES, quality systems, and other enterprise data ecosystems.
- Create reusable frameworks, libraries, components, infrastructure, engineering standards, and delivery patterns.
- Own solutions from prototype through production support and iterate with business users to measure adoption and business impact.
- Apply security and access controls for sensitive customer, pricing, financial, and engineering data.
- Partner with data science, product, data engineering, platform, business, and vendor teams, and mentor engineers.
- Communicate technical trade-offs, risks, timelines, and recommendations while contributing to architecture decisions and technical best practices.
Requirements
- A university degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience delivering production applications, including at least 2 years building AI, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, system integration, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, intelligent agents, copilots, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation and monitoring of output quality.
- Working knowledge of machine learning and MLOps; exposure to computer vision, time series, or optimization is a plus.
- Knowledge of software testing, CI/CD, deployment automation, and production support practices.
- Experience integrating solutions with enterprise platforms, business applications, and data ecosystems; Salesforce, ERP, PLM, or MES experience is preferred.
- Ability to work across multiple business domains and quickly learn new processes; manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred.
- Azure, Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Databricks experience is preferred.
- An advanced degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, planning, time management, interpersonal, collaboration, accountability, ethical judgment, and multitasking skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required.
