Base Salary
$136k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure and environment builds using scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration-management tools.
- Improve monitoring, observability, platform reliability, and application deployment workflows.
- Administer Linux systems and work with containers, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Own platform components end to end, participate in technical design and code reviews, and support application teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting experience in production or a substantial lab or project setting.
- Solid Linux administration skills and knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with containers and at least one CI/CD system.
- Scripting or programming ability in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication, methodical troubleshooting, and willingness to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree with four years of related work experience or master’s degree with two years of related work experience.
- Preferred qualifications include CKA or CKAD certification or progress toward certification; Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry experience; on-premises Kubernetes or air-gapped environment experience; virtualization or server and network hardware exposure; GitOps experience; and Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure.
Benefits
- Base pay range is $136,300.00–$231,700.00 annually.
