Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer ultra-low-latency and high-throughput trading systems.
- Develop and innovate frameworks supporting trading applications.
- Take projects from conception through deployment.
- Benchmark and tune critical software services for optimal performance.
- Collaborate directly with traders, researchers, and other developers.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment.
- Experience tuning and optimizing low-latency software.
- Demonstrable success building high-performance software.
- Experience building latency-sensitive systems with a strong understanding of low-level systems and network development.
- Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective.
- Strong understanding of network protocols.
- Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and the Linux kernel.
- Experience writing assembly code is desirable, with an interest in x86 Assembly.
