Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases.
- Discover, document, and track defects.
- Improve test case execution efficiency, test coverage, and QA methodologies.
- Design and implement automated tests for React applications using Python, Pytest, or Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
- Test desktop applications and web services, including performance and stress testing where applicable.
- Participate in requirements testing and collaborate with developers and other team members.
- Own QA processes from development through release and drive QA initiatives.
- Mentor team members and establish robust testing processes.
- Perform API, accessibility, and debugging activities as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA roles within agile teams, with a strong focus on desktop application testing.
- Strong understanding of testing theory and QA best practices for web services applications.
- Understanding of distributed architecture and its ecosystem.
- Familiarity with development and debugging tools for Python, Go, Ruby, and React.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test cases using Python and Pytest or Playwright for React.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and integrating automated tests into workflows.
- Ability to own QA processes, troubleshoot complex issues, provide actionable insights, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to mentor team members and drive QA initiatives.
- Preferred experience with Go, Ruby, or React codebases; performance and stress testing; API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno; security and privacy standards; and accessibility testing.
