Responsibilities
- Build a unified multi-platform messaging SDK with shared logic across mobile platforms.
- Platformize the in-house IM engine for community chat, payments, VIP service, and other product scenarios.
- Develop user-to-agent AI chat experiences, including real-time delivery and agent interaction flows.
- Own WebSocket long connections and offline push delivery across overseas and China vendor channels.
- Optimize latency, reliability, battery usage, memory, concurrency, and weak-network performance in production.
- Create AI-native engineering workflows and harnesses involving agents, evaluations, guardrails, and CI integration.
- Provide design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and raise the technical standard of the team.
- At Staff level, set technical direction and drive cross-team decisions for the IM platform.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience building native iOS and/or Android applications.
- Experience with cross-platform or shared business-logic approaches; Rust with UniFFI is used internally, while KMP, Flutter, and React Native experience is valued.
- Fluency in at least one of Swift, Kotlin, Rust, Objective-C, Java, or JavaScript, together with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale mobile applications from requirements through production.
- Depth in chat or feature-level UX, real-time networking internals, WebSocket or long-connection systems, and/or offline push delivery using APNs, FCM, or China vendor push.
- Strong mobile performance experience covering memory, battery, concurrency, and weak-network conditions.
- Hands-on experience applying AI engineering workflows, with knowledge of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent concepts.
- Ability to debug issues under real production load and operate effectively amid ambiguity.
- Demonstrated mentorship, technical ownership, and ability to raise team standards.
- Experience building or maintaining an IM/chat product or an SDK consumed by other teams is preferred.
- Experience with mini-program or dynamic/hot-update frameworks is preferred.
- Crypto trading or Web3 experience is preferred.
