Responsibilities
- Lead frontend/UI architecture across legacy .NET UI applications and modern ReactJS web applications.
- Define frontend engineering standards, design patterns, technical strategy, and long-term UI direction.
- Deliver scalable, accessible, maintainable, performant, and reliable user interfaces for healthcare workflows.
- Mentor frontend engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.
- Lead the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and production support.
- Build proofs of concept and technical spikes to evaluate frontend solutions and communicate recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Optimize UI responsiveness, rendering performance, and memory usage across desktop and web applications.
- Participate in production support, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
- Ensure frontend solutions meet reliability, performance, accessibility, security, and operational-readiness standards.
Requirements
- 11+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise-scale applications.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework for UI development, including event-driven programming, UI state management, and lifecycle handling.
- Experience with DevExpress or similar third-party UI component libraries and SOAP-based web services.
- Strong proficiency with ReactJS, including component architecture, Hooks, Virtual DOM, state management, data flow, and forms.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, npm or yarn, and Express.
- Experience with Redux or equivalent state-management solutions and API integration using Axios, node-fetch, or similar tools.
- Experience with UI testing using Jest and Katalon; Ranorex and NUnit experience is preferred.
- Experience with Material UI, styled-components, or similar styling libraries.
- Experience building large-scale cloud-based or on-premise web applications using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git, JIRA, Salesforce, Chrome DevTools, React DevTools, and VS Code; NeoVIM is a plus.
- Understanding of UI architecture patterns, accessibility standards, UI/UX practices, maintainable and testable code, and separation of concerns.
- Experience leading teams is required; healthcare application experience, HIPAA-conscious UI design, data privacy, security practices, and microfrontend architecture are pluses.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership abilities.
