Responsibilities
- Lead complex, large-scale technology initiatives with companywide impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review enterprise technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards, best practices, and strategic technology solutions.
- Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, and influence technical teams to meet deliverables.
- Build modern React applications with reusable components, hooks, state management, routing, form handling, and responsive interfaces.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST-backed services, including authentication, authorization, error handling, data transformation, and asynchronous request management.
- Develop and maintain database solutions using Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Implement automated unit, component, integration, regression, BDD, and headless testing.
- Use deployment, containerization, orchestration, and delivery tooling including Docker, Kubernetes, Harness, and GitHub Actions.
- Resolve complex technical issues and collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript for modern web application development.
- Experience integrating React applications with REST-backed services and designing API clients.
- Strong database development experience with Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Understanding and practical application of SOLID principles, enterprise integration patterns, and software design patterns.
- Experience with automated testing, BDD/Cucumber, headless testing, Jest, and React Testing Library.
- Experience with Gradle, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, Harness, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, browser compatibility, secure coding, build tooling, and production deployment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Knowledge of capital markets and securities is preferred; investment banking experience is an advantage.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Devin and GitHub Copilot in governed software delivery practices.
- Familiarity with Autosys and Linux/Unix scripting.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional regional language is beneficial.
