Responsibilities
- Design and test multi-turn, state-aware conversational systems using LLM reasoning loops and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Adapt emerging generative and agentic AI techniques and deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
- Build, benchmark, and maintain AI/ML models using Python, Azure, MLflow, and Databricks.
- Lead functional teams and initiatives supporting Conversational AI adoption.
- Promote AI/ML engineering best practices and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, and product managers to evaluate needs and recommend solutions.
- Stay current with AI technology trends and apply them to EcoVadis business challenges.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Computational Linguistics.
- At least 8 years of overall machine learning and NLP experience, including at least 4 years specializing in Conversational AI in production environments.
- Advanced knowledge of agentic frameworks and a demonstrated record of building autonomous or semi-autonomous agentic systems at scale.
- Experience leading industry AI initiatives from design through implementation and integration while applying sound software development practices.
- Strong mentoring skills and accountability for high-quality, timely delivery.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally on AI-powered products.
- Experience with conversational interfaces over complex enterprise domains such as supply chain, procurement, or financial risk is preferred.
- Peer-reviewed publications in top-tier NLP/AI venues such as ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, AAAI, or KDD are preferred.
