Responsibilities
- Champion quality throughout the full product R&D lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and system architects to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and improve testability.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Python and pytest.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and align them with the team’s Definition of Done.
- Apply AI-assisted testing techniques, including test generation, synthetic test data, failure-pattern analysis, and coverage optimization.
- Continuously improve test strategies, automation frameworks, and QA practices.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of optical transmission fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python-based test automation and CI/CD integration.
- Knowledge of or hands-on experience with AI/ML applications in software testing, including AI-assisted automation, defect detection, test-result analysis, or coverage improvement.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ownership, responsibility, and accountability.
- Clear communication and effective cross-team collaboration.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have qualification.
