Base Salary
$165k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects using the stated technology stack.
- Evaluate, develop, and roll out common features and engineering frameworks.
- Operate, support, upgrade, and scale shared services and frameworks.
- Conduct design and code reviews and write unit and functional tests.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in owned services and frameworks.
- Evaluate system performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security, and operations engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of programming experience in an object-oriented language such as Java, especially for backend services.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, garbage collection, and memory management.
- Experience architecting, implementing, tuning, and debugging large-scale cloud deployments.
- Ability to provide U.S. Person status documentation to access federal environments or protected federal data.

- Annual base salary range of $165,000–$226,600 for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
