Base Salary

$136k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications and embedded software.
  • Develop low-level software and software-to-hardware interfaces.
  • Analyze system capabilities and resolve issues involving program intent, inputs, outputs, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on electronic data processing systems.
  • Prepare operating instructions and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Ensure software standards are met and support automated software requirements testing and analysis.

Requirements

  • Level 3 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related experience.
  • Level 4 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD and 4 years of related experience.
  • Extensive embedded software development experience and low-level software-to-hardware interface experience.
  • Experience with NUnit, Moq, Windows software development, SysUML, Java, C++, C#, object-oriented software development, and Python or other scripting languages.
  • Ability to work in an in-person, closed-area environment and travel up to 10%.
  • Current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret clearance required at application and start; Top Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include automated software requirements testing, gRPC, CMake, Security+ certification, MDA GMD program experience, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, and GitLab experience.
