Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate core infrastructure including APIs, LLM-powered workflows, web scraping systems, and large-scale knowledge graph architecture.
- Architect and maintain production systems capable of handling millions of API requests with strong performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Own projects end to end from ambiguous problem definition through deployment and iteration.
- Collaborate with senior technical leadership on architecture and roadmap decisions.
- Contribute to developer documentation, technical tutorials, internal tooling, and experimental builds.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of shipping production code at scale.
- Hands-on experience with Linux servers in production environments.
- Experience with agent orchestration, LLMs, or web scraping.
- Experience designing or operating APIs, distributed systems, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure, or high-volume data pipelines.
- Ability to own ambiguous projects from architecture through deployment and iteration.
- Completed degree from a well-regarded university in a relevant field.
- Currently based in San Francisco and comfortable working in person.
- Background at a high-growth technology company or early-stage startup is a strong plus.
- Previous founder or early-stage engineering experience is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Benefits
- Base salary of $250,000 to $300,000 USD annually plus expected equity.
- On-site, in-person work in San Francisco, California.
