Responsibilities
- Develop, test, validate, demonstrate, deploy, administer, and support software and system solutions and services.
- Deliver high-quality software through automated development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Manage and maintain platform deployments using cloud and DevSecOps approaches.
- Use cloud platforms to meet project requirements and identify cybersecurity implications.
- Work with Product Owners on feature definition, release planning, and bid estimates.
- Collaborate with international cross-functional teams, Functional Managers, and co-engineering groups to deliver digital products and services.
- Contribute to solving complex technical integration problems and building shared technical approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with three or more years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, containerization, cloud hosting such as Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Strong experience with large-scale data storage and analytics platforms, including data lakes, Kibana, Elasticsearch/ELK, and Spark.
- Hands-on software design and development experience with automated testing and deployment toolchains.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, and related frameworks and technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering processes and practices.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, cybersecurity controls, authentication frameworks, Linux, and shell scripting.
- Understanding of cloud integration patterns, web services, public API Gateway deployments, web servers, proxies, load balancers, firewalls, and databases is desirable.
- Experience in railway signalling, air traffic, avionics, or similar critical-system domains is desirable.
- Experience with UX design for data analysis, dashboards, and data visualization, as well as data engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or machine learning, is a bonus.
- Learning agility, flexibility, proactivity, agile teamwork, and customer engagement skills.
