Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve production infrastructure, platforms, and cloud services.
- Design and implement scalable solutions for distributed and fast-changing environments.
- Investigate production issues, debug code, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Build automation that improves deployment, monitoring, testing, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with engineering teams on system design, architecture, production readiness, release validation, and post-change verification.
- Improve service health, resiliency, scalability, and operational processes.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews and collaborate with stakeholders on practical technical solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in production engineering, software development, systems engineering, or cloud operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across applications and infrastructure.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, network architecture, infrastructure software, deployment, monitoring, and testing.
- Programming or scripting experience focused on automation.
- Good understanding of server architecture, scalability, and system reliability.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen because the work involves government projects requiring citizenship for clearance purposes.
