Base Salary
$139k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and organization of the program’s data lake.
- Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines for high-bandwidth sensor logs.
- Implement data validation and integrity checks.
- Build tooling for querying raw logs to produce curated datasets.
- Deploy and maintain data visualization tools for log review and debugging.
- Establish data contracts between data services and model training consumers.
- Collaborate with engineers to shape logging schemas and dataset interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of data engineering experience or a Master’s with 2+ years.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Solid understanding of data partitioning strategies and columnar storage formats.
- Experience building data pipelines for time-series and binary data.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate open-source tooling.
