Full-Stack Software Engineer: Mid, Senior, and Lead

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable production software.
- Improve the team’s development process, culture, and code base.
- Build and ship high-quality software using AI-assisted development workflows.
- Design systems where AI agents integrate into human workflows at scale.
- Develop test strategies, automation frameworks, unit tests, and functional tests.
- Mentor others and present and review technical designs.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address production issues and maintain service availability.
- Maintain shared system context containing system designs, constraints, and standards.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
Requirements
- A related technical degree is required.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, or Python.
- High proficiency in a high-level programming language and web framework such as Node.js, Express, or Hapi.
- Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and/or Ajax.
- Understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database schema design.
- Experience with automated unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, or Selenium.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Advanced prompt engineering and system-context development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: experience building highly scalable web applications.
- Preferred: experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Preferred: demonstrated top performance in current and past roles.
