Base Salary
$161k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain new and existing software applications and customer features.
- Integrate software components, infrastructure, and solutions across multiple development environments.
- Develop and enhance DevSecOps operations, and monitor and maintain software development environments and tools.
- Create distributed components and interactions for cloud-based, multi-tiered consumer-facing web applications.
- Lead software architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, designs, verification plans, test procedures, and test environments.
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers, participate in peer reviews, and support software process and tool improvements.
- Track software team and supplier performance and support software research and development projects.
- Provide occasional business travel and after-hours support as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Active Top Secret U.S. security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and SCI eligibility; the position requires the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph after starting.
- At least 5 years of experience in foundational computer science knowledge, object-oriented design, and software patterns.
- Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub or IBM Rational Team Concert.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous development using code versioning, build, and test automation tools.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes Java, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins, Sonatype Nexus, JavaScript frameworks, Spring Framework, Hibernate, MongoDB, MySQL, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL, RMI, and dependency-management tools.
- Familiarity with GEOINT, test-driven development, agile software development, continuous integration, dependency management, and Security+ or CISSP certification is preferred.
- Candidates must complete the required CodeVue technical assessment and satisfy applicable security approval and export-control requirements.
