Software Engineer
Rampant TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern development practices and frameworks.
- Create and manage containerization workflows using DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Plan and execute deployments to Kubernetes clusters while ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
- Migrate legacy applications to modern container-based architectures.
- Support multi-location software infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python for application development and automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Practical knowledge of Git version control, CI/CD pipeline development, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience configuring GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools for code generation and optimization is preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are preferred.
- Excellent technical writing skills for comprehensive documentation are preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management practices is preferred.
