Base Salary

$172k - $216k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead for the Exposure Management team and drive technical direction across services.
  • Own the migration of legacy Attack Surface Management functionality onto the Exposure Management platform.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of backend services and ensure interoperability between legacy and new systems.
  • Build and extend large-scale, real-time streaming services using massive datasets.
  • Drive technical alignment across shared systems and improve scalability and engineering effectiveness.
  • Mentor team members and promote technical excellence, architectural leadership, and high engineering standards.
  • Leverage AI and LLM technologies to improve engineering efficiency and enhance platform capabilities.
  • Balance ongoing customer commitments with long-term migration and platform development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Golang.
  • Deep understanding of Internet technologies and concepts including WHOIS, Certificate Subject Alternative Names, and DNS record types.
  • Strong distributed systems experience, including horizontally scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures and operational technologies including gRPC/REST, GCP, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to navigate unfamiliar legacy systems, reverse-engineer behavior, and resolve complex issues with minimal disruption.
  • Strong communication, technical design, architecture documentation, and end-to-end solution delivery skills.
  • Experience leading product migrations or platform consolidations is a differentiator.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures using GCP Pub/Sub or similar systems is a differentiator.
  • Interest in integrating AI and LLM technologies into engineering workflows and product experiences is a differentiator.
  • Experience with test coverage enforcement, linters, code complexity checks, abstractions, and established design patterns is a differentiator.
